The Turkish art, which can be traced over a period of more than three thousand years and spread over a wide geography, has been trying to be introduced with the increasing number of studies in the last century. This civilization, which contains works in all branches of the art, has a great richness for new studies and discoveries.  The studies discussed in different geographies show that there is a unity and continuity in Turkish Art. The geometric, herbal or figurative ornamentations discussed in these works show a rich diversity, but they also emphasize an integrity and a continuity, which form the rings of a chain in Turkish Art.
In this book,  the studies about the pre-Islamic Turkish Art,  Seljuk and Ottoman periods are discussed in a wide range, and are evaluated with new research and perspectives.
